胡小萍 副教授

浙江吳興人,臺灣中生代鋼琴家,曾任輔仁大學音樂系主任兼研究所所長(2004.8-2010.7),現任輔仁大學音樂系專任副教授。

早年受教於盧俊政教授、吳漪曼教授、蕭滋教授。赴美時師事已故波蘭籍著名鋼琴家 Jakob Gimpel、 U. S. C. 知名鋼琴家Professor John Perry及U. C. L. A. 系所主任Professor Robert Winter。在加州州立大學Northridge 音樂系研究所畢業後,返台在輔仁大學音樂系所專任迄今,並於師大附中、中正高中、武陵高中等音樂班兼任。

近年來致力於推廣鋼琴教育之工作,除了擔任國內外重要國際鋼琴大賽之評審,並參與審核教育部中、高中音樂教科書外,特別著重於鋼琴教學方面學術的研究,每 年於各地作定期學術演講與教學示範,並多次參與國際鋼琴研討會,發表過的論文有:〈Bartok's “Mikrokosmos”〉;〈巴赫鍵盤音樂的梅呂哀舞曲〉;〈如何彈奏巴赫鍵盤音樂中的裝飾音〉;〈蕭滋教授文稿:Bach's “Art of Fugue”之導引〉;〈一位出類拔萃的音樂前輩---吳伯超先生〉;〈The History of “Jazz Piano”〉;〈貝多芬鋼琴奏鳴曲速度選擇之探討〉;〈A Brief History of Keyboard〉;〈被遺失的蕭邦第二十七首前奏曲--- A new eb minor prelude〉;〈舒曼青少年曲集探討〉;〈探究卡巴賴夫斯基簡易變奏曲〉;〈從舒曼“ Hausmusik”作品Op.68, Op.118來剖析其鋼琴教學理念〉。
著作出版:《巴赫鍵盤舞曲---歷史、形式、風格、演奏之探究》;《探究舒曼青少年曲集》。


Sheau-Ping Hu was born in Taiwan and began playing piano at the age of five. After she received her BA in Music from Taiwan Normal University under Professor E-Man Wu and Professor Robert Shölz, she continued her professional studies with Professors John Perry, Jakob Gimpel, and Robert Winter in Los Angeles , CA and completed her MA in Piano Performance.

After moving back to Taiwan in 1987, she began performing solo concerts and chamber music at venues throughout the country. This led to a full time teaching position at Fu Jen University where she began to devote herself to education and the development of young musicians. Her students have won top honors and awards in Taiwan, Asia, and international competitions.

In addition to teaching, Sheau-Ping has been active giving Master Classes and lectures nationwide, judging competitions, hosting international conferences, and writing articles on the subject of piano pedagogy. Her book, Interpretation and Analysis of the Dance Music of Bach, was the first work if its kind published in Chinese and continues to be in demand by teachers and students around the island. Her other book, Exploring R. Schumann’s “Album for the young” - From A Pedagogical Viewpoint sold 750 copies in 2 months.

Sheau-Ping was the Chairperson and Director of the Graduate School of Music in Fu Jen University, New Taipei, Taiwan from 2004-2010.
 Currently, Sheau-Ping is a full time associate professor in the Department of Music at Fu Jen University.
